holga photography

While I certainly understand the appeal of the instantaneous nature of digital photography, there’s something deeply pleasing about not knowing exactly what moments or imagery you’ve captured until days or weeks later. I think, especially with film, it’s a testament to having a solid grasp of your medium when the gap between the photo you wanted and the photo you got is narrow. That said, it’s also fun and intriguing when your camera sees (and therefore captures) something slightly differently than you did. With me and my Holga, it’s always an amusing mixture of both.
